Fonterra's Doing Good Fund is open to registered charities, kura (schools) and iwi to apply for funding or dairy product donation that is aligned to our three focus areas:
1. Putting good quality nutrition in the hands of those who need it most
2. Empowering communities to protect and restore nature
3. Partnering to keep our rural communities resilient & thriving
We have ten Doing Good teams based across Aotearoa New Zealand made of up passionate Fonterra employees who understand local needs, ensuring the chosen projects serve the community. Our committees review applications monthly. If your project or initiative fits our funding guidelines please apply.
For our nature projects and initiatives, we've teamed up with our partners NZ Landcare Trust and Trees for Survival to help protect and restore wetlands and waterways. We also support schools across Aotearoa New Zealand through Trees for Survival who enable school communities to nurture, grow and plant native plants in areas they’re needed the most - protecting and restoring habitat in streams, wetlands and on erosion-prone land.
